Will a 1987 nissan pathfinder throttle body fit a 1987 nissan truck

Have the Mass Airflow Sensor checked (it's the black, plastic box the size of a business card on the driver's side of the throttle body). It is VERY common for them to give false readings to the ECU.

it sounds like the injectors are not opening up man.. replace the injectores and this should fix your problem..good luck keith....

FIRST TRY TO SEE IF THE FUSE AND RELAY ARE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. IF THEY CHECK OUT THEN CHECK FOR SPARK AT EACH ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS. IF YOU ARE GETTING SPARK THEN I WOULD REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. THIS DEVICE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING INJECTORS AND SPARK PULSE THROUGH THE COMPUTER. HOPE THIS HELPS. Are you looking for a serial number of a model number? The 1998 pathfinders have the VG33E engine (introduced in 1996)

One solution to no fire to the injectors is to turn the key on and put a 12 v test light on the injector plug to see if it has fire . if it does not, a common problem is that there is a short in one of the three red wires ( green plug) coming off positive battery terminal. Test (test light) each small wire coming from + battery and if you find a dead one, it has probably broken inside the wire insulation and you can cut it and resplice to a good hot wire. Mine was the hot wire to the injectors !
