Rescan and check code sometimes repairing one thing sets of another or replacement part not installed correctly and or faulty
If the light is on there is a fault that should be recorded in the obd memory and that should have been detected and read when you last used the scanner.
When a fault is elusive it is usual to clear the code and put the light out to check if it returns and to try and establish a pattern as to when the light switches back on. A scanner loaded with good software will be able to read freeze frame data that was recorded when the fault occurred, such as speed, load, rpm, temperature and so forth; providing more clues to the nature of the fault.
If the light came on and no specific fault was recorded it is probably emission related, something reinforced by the increased fuel consumption. In that case the fault could be something mechanical like the fuel pressure regulator or a sticking or leaking injector. The basics first best practice would suggest such things are checked and eliminated before delving too far into the electronics.
SOURCE: FUEL AIR METERING
thats a code for an air fuel metering 02 sensor "a/f sensor" make sure you got the right one in u might have got just an 02 sensor instead of an "a/f sensor" hope this helps also is it a dx ex 6 cyl 4cyl?
SOURCE: Check Engine Light Comes on Intermittently
The P0141 code points to the O2 sensor heater circuit. It could be that there is a short in the wiring to the O2 sensor or it could be that the O2 sensor heating element itself is bad. The code is for O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2. Bank 1 means its the O2 sensor connected to the exhaust pipe that runs to cylinder #1. Sensor 2 means that it is likely the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter on the same exhaust pipe.
SOURCE: code PO131
Code PO131 is O2 sensor circuit low voltage , bank 1, sensor 1. That sensor I would say is the one in the exhaust manifold. I would check voltage to the sensor from the computer. If the voltage is not 5 volts, then it could be a computer problem or a wiring problem. I have seen factory wiring and connectors give a voltage problem. Check for a damaged or burnt, pinched wire. You need to know for sure that the voltage is correct to the sensor. Intermittent problems are hard to trace , but patience and knowledge helps.
SOURCE: check engine light after every oil change 2005 Honda
This happens because the oil filter needs to be free of air. When the oil pressure sensor drops below a certain value it shuts off the injectors because the PCM. This is a good feature because if you run out of oil for any reason it should stop the engine before damage occurs.
