I agree with WaltGe. Take it to a reputable shop. They know where to drill the right holes inside the transmission so that it will be properly lubricated. This deficiency is the reason that these trannys were not dependable in the first place.
You may want to see about a used transmission for your Ford. Rebuilding a transmission, unless you've done this before, takes a lot more than a DVD to master. Again, this is not to insult anyones mechanical inclination, but I've been working on cars for nearly 30 years and would not attempt this. Besides, many of the parts are not available to the general public and there are many tools you will have to buy that are specific to that transmission that are expensive. Even if you manage to get this back together, there are no guarantees that it will work.
I would be leery about doing this for a fifteen year old vehicle in the first place, but if I were trying to repair it, a used trans would be the best way to go. Hope this helps.
