rear window issue not rolling down?, take your rear window wiper blade and push up to the docking position. Then try the window. The wiper is electrically inline with the window relay. If it is not all the way up (sagging) then your window will not roll down. Hope this helps. Also, the relay board that operate rear window defog, and up/down is located drivers side behind the front seat behind the plastic trim. Next to the fuse box there are two circute breakers,in the center of the two breakers is a small hole take a tooth pick and push into the hole to reset the breaker,if I beleive the rear window breaker is nearest to the fuse box?? this should do the trick.

I got a 2003. Cadillac cts and none of the windows work. I have checked every fuse I can find none are labeled for widows. Anyone know where the fuses or relay is located?

2008 CTS drivers door switches don't work Just replaced battery All fuses are good

Did the switch work before replaced battery ? 2008 CTS ? Cadillac ? These switches are inputs to a control module , DDM - driver door module . a computer of sorts . A lot of thing's can go wrong with these systems , broken power or ground circuits inside the rubber boot from the body to the driver door . Communication problems between control modules etc... Plus the power windows don't use fuse's , has a circuit breaker for front windows - PWR/WNDW circuit breaker 25 amp located in the fuse box under the back seat , Fuse's are used for rear windows - two 15 amp fuse's LT/REAR an rear ,both are in the rear fuse box under back seat. These rear windows are controlled by the BCM - body control module .

The power windows system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)--GMLAN device that receives and transmits messages and signals for window functionality. The DDM contains the driver door switch (DDS) which is integrated into the module. The DDS contains the driver, front passenger, RR and LR window and window lockout switches.
• Passenger front door module (PDM)--GMLAN device that receives and transmits messages and signals for window functionality. The PDM contains the front passenger door switch (PDS) which is integrated into the PDM. The PDS contains the front passenger window switch.
• Left rear power window switch--Provides switched voltage and ground window switch signals to the left rear window motor for left rear passenger window operation
• Right rear power window switch--Provides switched voltage and ground window switch signals to the right rear window motor for right passenger window operation
• Left front power window motor--Contains position sensors and a module that receives signals from the DDM and provides a status signal to the DDM
• Right front power window motor--Contains position sensors and a module that receives signals from the PDM and provides a status signal to the PDM
• Left rear power window motor--Contains position sensors and a module that receives signals from the left rear power window switch
• Right rear power window motor--Contains position sensors and a module that receives signals from the right rear power window switch
• DRIVER DR MOD fuse (15-amp)
• PDM fuse (15-amp)
• PWR WNDW Circuit Breaker (25-amp) -- front
• LT/REAR/WNDW fuse (15-amp) -- rear
• REAR/WNDW fuse (15-amp) -- rear


Power Window Operation
The driver and front passenger doors are equipped with power window motors that contains its own module. Each power window motor receives a hot at all times battery supply voltage and constant ground source. When the right front passenger window switch on the DDS is activated to the up or down position, the DDM will interpret the signal and send a GMLAN serial data message to the PDM. Upon receipt of the message, the PDM will send a signal to the front passenger window motor module on the GMLIN serial data circuit. The window motor module will then supply battery voltage and ground to the window motor to drive the window motor to the up or down position.
The DDM communicates via the GMLAN serial data circuit with the body control module (BCM) to control the rear window functions from the driver master window switch. The BCM is hard wired to each rear power window switch with circuits for window up, window down, and an enable circuit. The rear window switches contain internal logic that when supplied with voltage from the BCM over the enable circuit will driver the appropriate window in the direction commanded.
The rear power window switches are supplied with battery voltage from individual right and left WNDW fuses located in the rear fuse block. When a rear power window switch is activated to the DOWN position, voltage is applied to the motor down circuit and the motor up circuit serves as the path to ground. The window motor will drive in the downward direction until the switch is released or the window has fully opened. When the window switch is activated to the UP position, voltage is applied to the motor up circuit and the motor down circuit serves as the path to ground. Ground for the left rear power window switch is supplied at G200 and the right rear power window switch receives ground at G201.

The power locks work the same .

After replacing the driver door switch (DDS) or passenger door switch (PDS), perform the programing procedure.

If you don't know any of what i posted your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out .

System Description NEEL0216 MODELS WITHOUT POWER DOOR LOCKS NEEL0216S01 The rear window defogger system is controlled by the rear window defogger timer. The rear window defogger operates only for approximately 15 minutes. The rear window defogger switch is integral to the air control. Power is supplied at all times  to rear window defogger relay terminal 5  through 20A fuse [No. 25, located in the fuse block (J/B)]. With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied  through 10A fuse [No. 5, located in the fuse block (J/B)]  to rear window defogger relay terminal 1, and  to rear window defogger timer terminal 1. Ground is supplied to air control (rear window defogger switch) terminal 8 and rear window defogger timer terminal 4 through body grounds M14 and M68. With the rear window defogger switch (located in air control) ON, ground is supplied  to rear window defogger timer terminal 3  through air control (rear window defogger switch) terminal 8. Rear window defogger timer terminal 2 then supplies ground to the rear window defogger relay terminal 2. With power and ground supplied, the rear window defogger relay is energized. With power and ground supplied, the rear window defogger filaments heat and defog the rear window. When the system is activated, the rear window defogger indicator illuminates in the air control. Power is supplied  from rear window defogger relay terminal 3  to air control (rear window defogger switch) terminal 4. Air control terminal 8 is grounded through body grounds M14 and M68. MODELS WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS NEEL0216S02 The rear window defogger system is controlled by the smart entrance control unit. The rear window defogger operates only for approximately 15 minutes. The rear window defogger switch is integral to the air control. Power is supplied at all times  to rear window defogger relay terminal 5  through 20A fuse [No. 25, located in the fuse block (J/B)] and  to smart entrance control unit terminal 49  through 7.5A fuse [No. 28, located in the fuse block (J/B)]. With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied  through 10A fuse [No. 5, located in the fuse block (J/B)]  to rear window defogger relay terminal 1 and  to smart entrance control unit terminal 27. Ground is supplied to air control (rear window defogger switch) terminal 8 and smart entrance control unit terminals 43 and 64 through body grounds M14 and M68. With the rear window defogger switch (located in air control) ON, ground is supplied  to smart entrance control unit terminal 14  through air control (rear window defogger switch) terminal 1. Smart entrance control unit terminal 37 then supplies ground to the rear window defogger relay terminal 2. With power and ground supplied, the rear window defogger relay is energized. Rear Window Defogger Operation
Battery positive voltage is supplied through the BATT 1 fuse in the underhood fuse block to the rear defog relay switched input. When the rear defog switch button is pressed, the body control module (BCM) energizes the rear defog relay by providing a B+ to the control circuit of the rear defog relay. This allows battery positive voltage from the relay switched input through the switch contacts and out the relay switched output to the rear window defogger grid. The HVAC control module houses the rear defog switch and also illuminates the rear defog indicator on the switch button, upon this request. Ground for the rear window defogger grid is provided by G301 for the Sedan or G302 For the Extended Sedan.

Rear Window Defogger System Components
The rear window defogger system consist of the following components:

Rear Window Defogger Operation (With LGM)
Battery positive voltage is supplied through the LGM 2 fuse to the LGM for the rear window defogger system. When the rear window defogger switch is depressed, the HVAC control module illuminates the rear window defogger indicator, and sends a class 2 message to the LGM to enable the rear window defogger. The LGM enables the rear window defogger by allowing battery positive voltage to the rear window defogger.
When the rear window defogger switch is pressed for the first time, the defogger cycle lasts 10 minutes. Further operation results in 10 minute defogger cycles.
Rear Window Defogger Operation (With EGM)
Battery positive voltage is supplied through the EGM 2 fuse to the EGM for the rear window defogger system. When the rear window defogger switch is depressed, the HVAC control module illuminates the rear window defogger indicator, and sends a class 2 message to the EGM to enable the rear window defogger. The EGM enables the rear window defogger by allowing battery positive voltage to the rear window defogger.
The following conditions must be met for rear window defogger to operate:
• The end gate glass position is not below the index position.
• The window express down movement is not requested.
• The window down movement is not requested.
If the end-gate glass is not fully closed, the DIC displays "Tailgate Glass Down" when the rear defogger operation is attempted.
When the rear window defogger switch is pressed for the first time, the defogger cycle lasts 10 minutes. Further operation results in 10 minute defogger cycles.

Both electric rear windows do not operate

If the rear power windows don't work. Its possible that you have a blown fuse for the rear side windows. Open up the fusebox usually located under the dashboard. Check the fusebox manual. Locate the fuse for the rear power windows. check if the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse. im 98% sure that its just a blown fuse.
