98 Catera goes into "Limp Mode" after warm up.

No check engine light, car starts and runs fine until it warms up then limp mode. Camshaft sensor, plugs and wires? The car has 66000 miles.
There is no oil in plugs from leaking head gasket.The last thing done to car was replace serpentine belt.

Check the vacuum lines on rear of upper intake and make sure that they are seated good.

I have a 2004 rx8 when you start it it runs great until it warms up & goes into limp mode. Turn it off & back on most of the time its fine for about a mile then back into limp mode. Please HELP

first option is to have the fault codes read
limp mode is activated by both the engine and transmission sensors
going to limp mode so quick could be an overheating problem , transmission vss/tcm problem or ECM fault
by reading the fault codes , you will get a better idea of the problem

My 1999 Olds intrigue shifts fine until it warms up, then goes into limp mode. Disconnected the coolant temp sensor and put a new one on the wires and left outside the engine. No change. Please help!

run the fault codes as the limp mode is from engine AND transmission faults
the problem could be in the transmission servo/ solenoids or TCM

My transmission goes into limp mode if the outside temperature is above 70 or if the car is warmed up when started. Otherwise it will shift fine until you turn it off.

sensor is worn out and overheating.happens over time, would find the sensor and replace it.
