A/C compressor kicks on, fan doesn't work at all. Checked fuses inside driver side door. Didn't see anything labled for the fan. Which fuse would it be? Is there another fuse for the blower?
Thanks so much...

Good morning, the 1 and 2 fuses get hot and it won't start, did I change them and started. Well for a while now they warmed up again, I changed them, and did not start. motor is a 1999 kia sportage 2.0
Passenger fuse box left kick panel, driver side. The kick panel goes from the floor up to dash. There is also, a fuse box under the hood, wasn't sure which one you needed?
if fuse/power to fan/resistor all check out, drop the motor and look for a mess of leaves inside...in my case, there were so many they kept the motor from operating/OR taking it all apart/testing and finding nothing wrong but leaves and removing them somehow corrected a bad ground...who knows or cares?...it's now working
the fuses are found at the left side kick panel (i.e. left side or driver's side of the front. it is right behind the panel where the left door hinges are located. you would find the secondary fuse box for all accessories and lights. IF you find that there is no power for all your accessories or lights, check the main fuses at the right side of the engine bay in front of the battery. this is a rectangular black plastic housing where the main fuses are located.
It may be the blower motor, or it may be the blower resistor. Check for power at the blower motor. If power present with system on and blower has good ground, motor bad. If no power check blower resistor in air box prior to blower motor. If power on input side but nothing coming out to blower change resistor.
Does the blower work when you turn off the A/C? If not, it sounds like either the blower motor, relay or blower switch took a poo! 06 Kia? Should still be under warranty.
