SOURCE: 2006 Ford Ranger vibration on steering wheel and noise @ 110 Km/h

Check the idler arm and pittman arm, then the tie rod ends for ANY play. The pittman arm is the one on the steering gearbox that connects to the tie rod, and the idler arm is the one that connects from the tie rod to the frame. Replacing the parts is a pretty inexpensive and straightforward job, but you will need to have the wheels re-aligned afterwards.

When I drive at high speed there is a funny sound from steering sound like garrrrr and the steering vibrate

When I drive at high speeds I hear a funny siren sound with blue lights flashing :) Seriously though, the power steering fluid may be aerated or low and moaning which can make the steering wheel feel odd, as in vibrating . See what your fluid looks like and the level of it.

1992 GMC sierra two wheel drive 4.3l V6 Have a vibration or rubbing noise when I turn the steering wheel sharply to the left at parking lot speeds.

If you let go of steering wheel and step on brakes does the wheel vibrate?

I'd say its either warped rotors, power steering malfunction, or possible wheel bearing, although if wheel bearing you should feel/hear a hum which would get louder depending on which way you turn the vehicle.

Front end vibration

This is usually either wheel balance if you just feel the vibration in the steering wheel, or shock absorbers are worn if you can actually feel the front of the vehicle bouncing.

I get a grinding noise and slight vibrations that I can feel under my feet. This usually happens at low speeds, but has become more noticeable now at c. 30 mph.

You need wheel bearings.. One for sure maybe 2. Do you feel it in the steering wheel or floor? The floor usually means rear and the steering wheel usually means front. Hope this helps. It should change pitch when you drive left to right at a steady speed. :-) Cobra

I have an 04 Honda Odyssey. I feel a mild

If you have vibration in your steering wheel, I would have your CV joints checked out or it might be your front wheel bearings. The vibration coming from those two problems would get a little more intense as your speed increases. Are your tires in good shape? Did it vibrate before you got your brakes done?

Vibrating proplem

Your car has front disc brakes, the disc's are running out of true, as u apply the brake this causes the steering wheel to shake, the higher the speed the more u feel this, the solution is to have the front brake disc's machined true again on a brake lathe or if they are to thin replace them.

Vibration in steering column

if your vibration comes and goes with different speeds, most likely problem is balance in tires/wheels. a bent wheel often vibrates more with higher speeds. if the vibration is stong in the steering wheel, the problem is normally in the front end, if you feel in more in the seat or body of the car then look to the rear end.
