check your fuel pressure damper and fuel pressure regulator plus you might have to jump the relay to bypass the pump which is a old emergency trick i learned from clarcks garage?
I had a problem like that. Turned out to be the DME relay. Very common problem on that model. Some say you should never leave your house without a spare. Part is cheap, $30. It is located in the fuse box. Try that first. All other problems will be more intrusive and cost more. Good luck.
You will not be able to hear the fuel pump on that model. First you have to determine if you get fuel and have spark. If it is a fuel problem, replace the DME relay first. Very common. They act up and fail without warning. Part is cheap and located in the fuse box. Next would be the fuel pump. If it is spark related it may be the Flywheel Reference Sensors. There are two and the cost about $100 each.
hi, fuse box is in engine bay, take off cover and relay has dme written on top, pump is at rear, underneath car, just below fuel tank, there maybe a large cover to take off first.
