I put new fuel pump and new inline filter in 2001 Taurus,bleed fuel rail but still isn't getting enough gas.fires up for 1 second then dies.check rail very little gas trickles out

You should have about 40-50 psi on fuel rail. Is there a clogged fuel filter in the line? In line filter installed properly?
Is the fuel pump any good?

96 EL Falcon which keeps stoping at any time any speed, starts straight away sometimes takes longer at others.

EL have problems with the dissy ign module and also coil packs

have a look in this ford forum for the EL falcon sections

1996 Silverado 5.7 Won't start . I replaced the fuel pump and it is getting fuelto the rail but won't inject. If I prime it at the throttlebody it will start.What could be the proble?

Verify the fuel pressure is 60-66 psi at the fuel rail. Fuel pressure regulator could be the problem.
Next, Photo shows a common problem.

Does it start better if you cycle the ign switch on and off several times before trying to start it? If so is more than likely the pressure valve on the fuel rail.

Check your fuel pressure. It may be low, or losing pressure from a bad pressure regulator. A thorough test of your fuel system seems in order. (A pressure test can also detect a bad regulator, if it's done properly.)

Where is the fuel pump relay on the 95 ford taurus

Hello , fuel pump relay location is in the relay box by the radiator. The fuel psi regulator is on the fuel rail itself. The regulator looks like a small disk about 1.5inchs in dia. It will have a vacuum line running to it.

1999 Taurus has been sitting 4 years, bad gas clogged fuel filter

1.) Change the fuel filter.
2.) remove all old gas (should actually drop the tank)
3.) run injector cleaner get kit to do this from fuel rail as this is probably cover in gunk

You may also have a screen or filter in the gas tank itself that can get clogged. Get rid of as much bad gas as possible. Like I said above it is recommended that you drop your gas tank but if you don't want to make sure to get all old gas out of tank and at the very least put a good amount of stabil in the tank fill with gas do the fuel rail injector cleaner they sell these kits at auto part stores. Hope for the best.

I would check the EEC relay, and the fuel pump relay too. But it sounds like the ignition module is loosing power, or the pump is not getting power after the engine starts.
The computer must see oil pressure or RPM to power the pump relay after the engine starts.

try changing the igniton module on the distribuitor in most cases it's the problem if you dont want to buy it you can take the ignition module to a autozone and they will check it for free
