SOURCE: cant turn key to start 1997 toyota camry.

1997 Toyota Camry Key Wont turn, Ignition Lock problem -1997 toyota camry FIXED!!! I see a lot of Douches with a capital D trying to charge people to fix this extremely common issue with this Camry ignition cylinder. OK pull the plastic guard off encasing the steering column. Get a phillips head screwdriver and remove the 2 screws holding the little off-white connector at the rear of the module(it has the wires to the ignition running to it). Get a pair of pliers or a small crescent wrench and while trying to turn the key use the wrench to turn the little rod sticking out of the back of the module. Make sure your turning it WITH the direction the key is trying to turn it. It should immediate be freed. Voila IT WORKS! AND THATS WHY PEOPLE DONT TRUST MECHANICS! HOW CAN YOU CHARGE SOMEONE FOR THAT INFO?

1991 toyota pickup will start ,but will not stay running

Does it start but the moment you let go of the key it dies? Some cars have a wire from the starter to the ignition coil that provides power during start up. This will let it start but if the circuit from the ignition switch to the coil is not working it will die the moment you let go of the key. Find the positive on your coil and connect a wire from there to the positive of the batery. If it start and keep on running the problem is between your ignition and the coil. Remember the engine will not stop until you remove the wire from the batery.

I have a 88 camry it just started having problems with starting it starts up and dies and then i try to start wont start if i let it sit for a while it starts right up could it be fuel filter

could it be. the line must be free from any kind of restrictions like dust, particularly from air. must have solid fuel line. but you have to check the resistance of your igniter( coil ) too. defective coil shows the the engine run for a while then stop, rest for few minutes, then run again. if found defective, replace it.

My 1993 toyota camry v6 just died after making a left turn and will not start up turns over just does not wanna fire, could it be numerous things or more of the fuel filter?

it could be alot of things. if the car was running fine before it happened i wouldn't say the fuel filter. if it was dirty enough to clog from taking a turn then the car would have ran poorly. i see alot of ignition issues with these cars.
with out testing you could be chasing your tail and wasting money.

hope this help and please ask any more question you have. good luck

No spark from ignition module on hot start

95 JEEP WRANGLER 4 CYL

No spark. I have changed out the distributor cap, rotor, wiring from coil to cap, and coil was replaced. I checked the distibutor by turning ignition key and observing the rotor turn. What else can I check. I did not observe a module.

No fire to my plugs

It all sounds like you have a bad computor. If you are not getting fire from the coil. The source will lead you back to the brain source, (The Computor). Go to the local junk yard to get another one at half price.
