P0700 is telling you the Transmission Control Module (TCM) has detected a fault in the transmission control system and has stored a code relative to the fault. You will have to find a scanner capable of reading transmission codes to determine the code. A typical scanner won't read TCM codes.

How to fix code P1266 on HINO 700

Code P1266 on a HINO 700 can indicate a fault or issue with the injection control pressure system. Here are some steps to fix this code:
  1. Check the engine oil level and ensure it is at the correct level. Low oil level can cause issues with the injection control pressure system.
  2. Inspect the oil filter and replace it if necessary. A clogged or dirty oil filter can restrict oil flow and cause pressure issues.
  3. Check for any leaks or damage in the injection control pressure system. Look for oil leaks around the high-pressure oil pump, hoses, or fittings.
  4. Inspect the fuel injectors for any signs of damage or leaks. Faulty injectors can cause issues with the injection control pressure system.
  5. If there are no visible issues, it may be necessary to use a diagnostic tool or scanner to further troubleshoot the problem. The scanner can read and interpret the error code and provide more specific information on the exact cause of the issue.
  6. If you are unable to identify or fix the issue yourself, it is recommended to take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic or HINO dealership for further diagnosis and repair.
Keep in mind that these steps are general guidelines and may vary depending on the specific model and year of the HINO 700. It is always best to consult the vehicle's owner's manual or seek professional help for accurate and specific instructions.

Hino 700. The check engine light is always on after replacing clutch. I checked all sensors and I reset. Any idea how fix the check engine light? Thanks

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Cars and Trucks.

Clutches shouldn't have codes attached to them. My guess is a wire came off a sensor. The codes should tell you what the issue is. Then you fix it and reset the code.

Hi, I don't know why my engine light on for my car at a sudden and I have taken to a autozone they told it is showing 731 and 700 error codes but now engine light is turned off. Do it have further problem?

As Long As The Light Is Off, Should Be OK--If It Comes Back On Get More Exact Code Number(s)-----There Should Be Letter(s) As Well As Numbers. Usually A Speed Sensor Will Cause This--However could be a temp. code due to low voltage at some point in time(code 700) which will generate code 731--1st Gear Transmission Code.

Yamaha grizzly check engine light stays on. why?

Try to reset the code and drive. Does the error code pops again after resetting? Can you please tell that is your ride starting and running fine or not? Try self diagnostic system if your ride is equipped with it. How to fix code 700 on my 2003 dodge Durango can't find the sensor

Well there is no sensor.
Code 700 is a general fault with the transmission control module.
It could be a problem with the module, or the wiring between the module and the transmission, or between the module and the engine computer. Usually there are more codes to go with a code 700.

2000 dodge ram check engine light came on. code p 0720 is

P0720 is a code for the output shaft speed sensor on the transmission. If you are handy with a volt/ohm meter you can test the resistance of the sensor unpluged. should be 500-700 ohms. or you can just put a new sensor in, its a comon problem.
