Anti theft alarm going on and off after replacing battery.

I have a honda civic Hybred. Last night I needed to get a jump start, due to leaving lights on while parked. I got car jumped started and I now can not get the anti theft alarm from going on and off since I was jumped started. I bought a new battery for $95.00 thinking this was my problem. I still have the same problem when I connect the battery the alarm is going crazy. My car is a 2006 with 45,000 miles. Please help I love my car. Thanks

Sounds like the anti-theft/alarm system was triggered.
Have you tried locking and unlocking the driver door with the key to disable the alarm ?
And you need at least 12 volts to crank the engine so the battery may need to be charged up first.

Anti-theft system has nothing to do with it . Battery cables , maybe , Park neutral safety switch possibly ! With anti-theft system problem you wouldn't a click or anything , that is if the anti-theft disables fuel or the starter . Plus the SECURITY light would be on if it were a anti-theft system problem . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop that knows how to do starter circuit testing >

How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit

And what's this identity anti theft system ? No such thing ! The vehicle has a content theft an vehicle theft deterrent system !
This system disables fuel not cranking of the engine. The VCM/PCM will not disable the fuel due to any BCM message for the remainder of the ignition cycle.
If the VCM/PCM does not receive the same password from the BCM as the last learned one, the vehicle will start and then stalls due to the Fuel Lockout.

You should have disconnected the battery and fully charged it before starting the car.
The low voltage may have damaged some of the electronic components in the alarm system.
Charge the battery fully, then reconnect it and see if that helps.

I had to jump off my battery last night, and now my stereo's face is saying 2 code. It won't play, display the time, or accept cd's

oops. your battery went dead and activated the anti-theft. the dealer can give you the code if you can prove ownership. Call them up. it may be just a phone call away.
