P0139 Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Slow Response This is the Catalytic Converter efficiency monitor, it is reporting that the Cat Conv is not working as it should (cleaning up the exhaust), how many miles on the car?

    oops! typo when I researched the code, sorry, Check for any intake vacuum leaks (use a can of carb spray, see if u notice any idle speed change when spray around the intake gasket area), also clean the inside of the MAF sensor, clear the code and run a drive cycle test, about 20 miles of mixed city and highway driving, if after a few days the light doesn't return u are through, if it does replace the primary O2 sensor.

It'll never go into closed loop with those codes.
P0134 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0154 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Check for major air leak in exhaust. Or 2 dead sensors (very unlikely)

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 range rover. It has a service/check engine codes of 134,135,155. Is it likely to be more than oxygen sensor problems? Please reply , Mel

with those codes showing, it could be either bad O2 sensors or there is a problem with the wiring to those sensors. Also, the wrong sensors may be installed. I'm assuming codes P0134, P0135, P0155.

For others viewing this:

P0134 = O2 sensor circuit-no activity detected (bank 1 sensor 1)

P0135 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1)

P0155 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 2 sensor 1)

P0134 Error Code

The code refers to an oxygen sensor that is no longer detecting changes in fuel delivery by way of sensing exhaust oxygen content. Bank 1, sensor 1, tells you which sensor is bad, in this case, it's the sensor that is mounted before the catalytic converter, on the rear bank of cylinders as you look into the engine compartment. It would really be a good idea to change both pre-cat O2 sensors at this point as they are both twelve years old.
