CD disk bad. (audio disc bad or scratched)
or CD dont really support disk media format , is this a CDDA or MP3
some early MP3 disc drives do MP3 very poorly

you need to get a headunit that has an anti-skip buffer, or get one with a USB input. With the USB input, you can put all your music on a flash drive and get rid of the CDs.

Make sure that all of the sensors are connected. Is the Check Engine light on? Make sure that all of the spark plug wires are still secure.
What do you mean skipping? Is there an ignition miss (e.g. cylinder not firing) or is the ignition cutting out periodically?
