Car windows are getting no power - 2000 Oldsmobile Alero

Well the power window relay gets voltage from a 30amp power window fuse and from the 10amp wiper fuse thru the key switch.
Is the relay getting power and ground ?

Check the window lift motor connect when the switch is operated on the door, is it getting power? If it is getting power then the motor is defective, if it not getting power it can be the switch or the wiring to the door and window motor causing the problem of no power window operation.

it happen with me also actually the problem is the power window get jammed from the inner part..... you if you able to open it just open now clean it well then spray the lube into it and for a long time it work properly..... thankyou

.Just to be sure, do you know that when you insert your key into either the driver or passenger (front) doors, and turn the key over to the far LEFT (in the process of unlocking the door), and hold the key in that position for more than a second or so, your windows will all roll down?? This is supposed to happen - it is a benefit of owning a VW! It is all described in the owner's manual.

Now the other side of this function, is that if when you get out of the car, and any of the windows are left open (including the sunroof if you have one), inserting your key and turning it over to the far RIGHT (in the process of locking the car), and once holding it there for more for a second or so, will then close all the windows for you. This opening and closing process will only continue for as long you hold the key turned over in the extreme position in either direction. Once you return the key to the center position, the opening and closing will stop. So you just hold it there until the windows are all closed. This option is not available via your keyless remote though - only via the key in the door locks.

It's something I love about the VW design - you can choose to let fresh air into the car before getting in without having to insert your key into the ignition and on the other side, if a window (or the sunroof) is accidentally left open when you've exited the car, you now have the option to close them all without once again inserting your key into ignition and turning it over.

1. Check power window fuse
2. Check and or replace drivers door power window switch. The passengers power window gets it power through the drivers door switch so if the drivers door switch is out it will take out the passenger window power.

Right at the power window or acc. circuit in the fuse panel

You would have to remove door panel and remove the two nuts fastening the window to the window motor regulator then slide window up and use tape to hold it up until you can get it repaired
