2009 Kia Rondo, AC starting acting funny and blowing hot and then cold then hot, and then car over heated...whats is wrong? help!!!

You need to fix the coolant leak, then refill and bleed cooling system, then you will get heat and cure overheating problem too

Keeps you cool when the juice has been shorted. That too is a funny, but quite accurate. A fuse is a piece of wired that is designed to melt when it gets above a certain temperature. At a given voltage (12 in the case of your Kia), various amounts of current (Amperes) generate differing amounts of heat. The fuses are thus rated in Amps - which is their current limit. When you go above that, because of something like a short, or trying to draw more current than the wiring can handle, instead of having the wires melt or a fire start, the fuse melts or "blows" instead. That's a good thing.

the ac core only blows cold air but You must be talking about the heater core.. In which case I would suggest that you bleed the air out of the coolant system as there is an air lock in the heater core.

What fuses are they? The whole reason a fuse blows is to protect that circuit from excessive amps that could blow components. Fuses blow for 2 reasons excessive draw on that circuit or a short to ground. You may have a wire rubbing and after a while it touches ground and that's when the fuse will blow. I've also seen it when a wire is touching something that gets hot. what happens is when the engine component gets hot it heats up the insulation on the wire and that is the short but after the engine cools down it goes back to norm.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

I have a 2007 kia rondo.Ac was working,parked it for a year,ac wasnt working,recharged,the ac,it worked for a month,an started again,blowing hot ai.If you let it set for hour would start working...then after a few days it would only work early morning,if you dont turn ac of,then it stop working,I see the clutch isnt kicking in,ir you try an put freeon in it soon as you start putting it in it would kick on.An its full of freeon.

Make sure your coolig fan(s) are running while the ac is on. I''m not sure how you now that you have sufficient refrigerant in the system, but I would also have that checked. Over filled systems can act that way too! Last but not least, high and low pressure switches should be checked, amd if all else fails, check the expansion valve.
