Toyota code b1181

**GET A SPECIALIST TO DO THIS ONE!**
The code B0106 reads as
"Open In P Side Air Bag Squib Circuit / 54"
This means there is a fault in the wiring that sets off the passenger side Airbag! Get a good auto electrician to fix this.
It could be something as simple as a loose wire, However, The 'squib' is the charge that sets off the Airbag and it is based on the idea of a blank shotgun cartridge, so unless you're an experienced auto electrician DON'T mess with it.

posible you need a new clock spring under the stering wheel the codes you get say the circuit on the driver side squib

Possible Causes:

• *Front passenger airbag assembly (P squib)

tread lightly fooling with air bags or BOOM.

B 1811. Open in driver side squib, 2nd step circuit.
The driver's side seat belt circuit is open. Remove the driver's side pillar cover, and look at the connector attached to the reel. Clean it with contact cleaner and place it back. If it does not solve the problem check the harness wiring for damage or broken wire.

Most likely the spiral cable broken. Follow the instructions HERE

You have a problem with the pass seat belt or the wiring to it.P/T stands for pretensioner. when the air bag deploys the seat belts tighten.
Be carful with the seat belt it contains an explosive.

The problem probably is in the contacts of the spiral cable Where it is plugged in. if so, the part will have to be replaced. it is pretty easy to do if you can get the steering wheel off, pretty much just unplug it, and remove the clip that holds it to the steering shaft
