I would check for power at the brake light switch first.

Check your brake light switch at the pedal. This controls the lights and disengages the cruise when stopping. I'd look there before I go anywhere else. There may just be a wire loose. Could be a simple fix.

Good Luck and hope this helps.

Check the fuses, if they are blown, make sure they are the right size. If not, do not use bigger fuses than the circuit is supposed to have. If they are too small, use the correct size. If they are, do you have any extra equipment using the same circuit? Like a stereo or GPS or an alarm system? Move them to a different circuit. Check the relays to see if they are defective. Check all the bulbs to make sure they are the right ones too. Make sure they are in the right way. Check grounding wires, make sure they have good connections.

Sounds like the brake switch is bad.

When i plug a trailer up to my 2002 F-250 pickup, the trailer park lights don't work. Brake and turn signals work.

Just a thought, do the park lights come on when you turn on the headlights? Mine only come on when the headlights are on, which also powers the tail lights.

I have 2006 f250 super duty, I have running lights on trailer but no turn signals or brake lights. the trail lights all work on my other ford truck.

If indeed you have the wiring correct, brown for run lights, green for right turn and yellow for left turn, and is not working on one trailer but not on the other, ALWAYS go to the ground connection every time. I've wire many a trailer and found that if no lights or only some working, It's always the ground connection. Check this with a pair of jumper cables between a clean spot on the tow chassis to a clean spot on the trailer chassis and turn the lights on and try the signals and brakes. That's the best test to do when checking the system.
