Its most likely located near or on the fuse panel(block). If not and its blinking at a fast rate, you should be able to turn on the ignition switch along with your turn signal and find it by the clicking sound. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Engine Check Light - 2006 KIA Optima

Hi

Before you turn out the light you should have a code read carried out just to make sure nothing sinister is going on with the management system.

If the car is running ok then the code will probably either pertian to the O2 sensor, the EVAP system, or a drop in catalytic efficiency, but this isn't set in stone, just the most popular scenarios.

Very best regards

P0456 EVAP Leak Monitor .020 Leak Detected

replace your gas cap and clear codes, then wait and see if light comes back on, if it does you have a more serious problem like a fuel tank leak or a defective fuel tank pressure sensor.

SOURCE: 2002 Optima: where is the speed sensor on a 2002 kia opitma...

The speed sensor is located on top of the transmission Just under the Air Filter. So you will have to remove the Air Filter and you will see your two main sensors (I/O sensors.) . For more detail-----------
If you remove the air filter and look down on top of the transaxel, you'll see a couple of connectors that lead to sensors that are inserted into the transaxel. The Output Speed Sensor is the one towards the rear of the car, towards the driver. The Input Speed Sensor is the one a little hidden under a diagonal cable (with a boot covering the cable) right in front of your face. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

2011 kia optima fog lights go on only when right blinker is on, just changed front side marker bulb and is still doing the same thing, blinking fast but no other lights are out.

fast blinking is a sign that the flasher relay has a fault , change that and i would expect the fog light issue will resolve as well , as i expect the flasher relay is trying to earth through a different circuit

Where is the emergency flasher relay located on 2013 Rogue?

Here is what the service manual says. Looks like it is not a flasher relay but a function of the body control module.

TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING LAMP SYSTEMSystem Description OUTLINE Turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp is controlled by combination switch reading function and the flasher control function of BCM.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION - BCM detects the combination switch condition by the combination switch reading function. - BCM supplies voltage to the right (left) turn signal lamp circuit when the ignition switch is turned ON and the turn signal switch is in the right (left) position. BCM blinks the turn signal lamp.
HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION BCM supplies voltage to both turn signal lamp circuit when the hazard switch is turned ON. BCM blinks the hazard warning lamp.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL SOUND OPERATION - BCM transmits the turn indicator signal to the combination meter with CAN communication while the turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp are operating. - Combination meter outputs the turn signal sound with the integrated buzzer while blinking the turn signal indicator lamp according to the turn indicator signal.
HIGH FLASHER OPERATION (FAIL-SAFE) - BCM detects the turn signal lamp circuit status by the terminal current value. - BCM increases the turn signal lamp blinking speed if the bulb or harness open is detected with the turn signal lamp operating. NOTE: The blinking speed is normal while operating the hazard warning lamp.

Jeep Liberty 2002 - I get a fast blink on the left turn signal (but a normal blink on the right). Where is the flasher located?

Normally when this happens you have a blown bulb on either the front or rear the fast blink is because with only one bulb working the flasher clicks it faster less of a load means faster blink.

Right turn signal blinks fast when brake is on.

You have a bulb out somewhere could be front or back, but that is usually why it blinks faster.
