The cover to the fuse box should give you information as to which fuse goes to which component. If that doesn't help, here is a link to a free pdf of the owners manual. The section on fuses is located on page 6-60

Testimonial: "yes after further investigation i did locate the fuse identification label on the side of the fuse block and not on the lid like some other companies do thanks "

SOURCE: 1999 Oldsmobile Alero lighter fuse location

there's one under the hood and one right next to the left of where your left foot would be in the driver seat as for the diagram i would suggest going to an auto store and asking for a print out they'll give you a free one if you buy the part from them. the lighter should be in the fuse box under the hood

I have a 2000 pontiac Grand Am I have a sunroof, which isn't working so I thought it would be the fuse, but in my fuse box it doesn't say anything bout the sunroof so how do I know which fuse it is

Found this info, click on the link.
Your owners manual should have this info, if you don't have an owners manual, try.
my.gm.com
Type in year--make--model, then I go to last page for index, look for fuses, it should give the page #.

My sunroof won't close, is it the fuse? If so,

If the sunroof only opens but does not close the problem is the relay or the motor itself, try replacing the relay of this does not work, try replacing the roof motor.

Fuse box diagram 2001 Pontiac grand prix

If you are looking for a wiring diagram for the fuse box then there are a couple of sources. Pickup a hayes or chilton repair manual from a local parts store or go online to ALLDATA. com. You will have to pay for the info online, but you can print it off. You can search for the wiring info online for free but I have had little success that way. If you are looking for fuse locations within the fuse box then try the owners manual in the glove box or buy a manual.
