SOURCE: serpentine belt diagram

Around the outside of power steering pulley,under idler,over a/c comp,around alternator,over fan pulley, around crank pulley, over water pump. The backside of the belt contacts the idler, fan and water pump.

Review the Repair Manual ZJ-Secc-7-Cooling-System page 10, fig. 10 for 4.0L and page 12 fig. 17 for 5.2L

Assuming that you have A/C, the diagram for your serpentine belt is the following. Let me know if this is not what the pulleys in your vehicle look like and I will get you the diagram for no A/C. Thanks for using FixYa!s7024.jpg

Car will not start

If this is a six cylinder, there were problems with the fuel pressure regulator leaking gas into the vacuum line creating a flooded condition. You might want to check map sensor,crank sensor.
