Truck wont start, interior lights flash

Check your battery terminals , are they clean and tight ? Next try to jump start your car. It may be that you have a bad battery.

My 2003 Mercury Mountaineer has an electrical problem. It started about a year ago with the key fob not working, I have bought 3 and all won't work even after re-programing. now tonight I went to

Could be a windshile leak down the A-Pillar & water
gets into the delayed accy relay for the GEM Module
(Body Computer as ford called it for a few years) & you
get what you have now

Try Goolge as I did a few weeks ago for a relative
He had the same issue with the blower being on &
killing the battery

No real fix I found for the windshield leak
Seem a robot didn't put the rubber sealant
on correctly at the factory fo about 5 years
on several fords.

If it isn't water related then the GEM Module
controls all those body features

If you get a used one & match up the numbers,
you supposedly can avoid buying a reman gem
& the expense of having to reflash it to your factory
built combination

2001 mercury mountaineer starts fine but sometimes won't start at all

I'm going to first assume that you've checked the battery terminals for gunk build-up. If the electrical system is OK, then the problem likely lies in the gas delivery. You might want to check out the starter anyway. Also, replace the fuel filter and put some Sea Foam or equivalent carb/electric ignition jet cleaner in the gas tank. I might add that your car is 17 years old. Start looking. . .

Windows won't raise up in my 2001 Mercury Mountaineer due to bad fuse

That is a lot of don't knows

That tells me your better off at a repair shop

Why not check all the fuses

If one blew,it will blow again, until you
fix the real problem

If one window works, it won't be a fuse

The most common would be a window
switch you use the most, followed by a window
regulator,then a fail motor.

You should have an owners manual for
all your vehicles to look up fuses & lamps

Helm.Com --is where you go for a Ford & other
make manuals

My 2001 mountaineer power windows and interior lights dont work

All the things you mentioned are controlled by a central computer control module commonly called the BCM (body control module). When a problem occurs you must have the dealer or a shop with the right type of system scanner read the BSM and have it do an "Active " test, it (BCM) then will operate the windows and other things it controls and return a fault code for what it sees wrong in the systems it controls, This test is essential to have a starting point to diagnose the problems you have.

2001 Mercury Mountaineer won't start

Have a load test done on the battery. If it checks out good, take a voltmeter to the battery and have an assistant rotate the engine. If you see more than a 2 volt drop when the car is being started, the starter is heading south.
