SOURCE: range rover l322 2002 heavy power steering renewed

The Solenoid fitted on the Steering Rack is not getting the command from The Body Control Unit. Kindly Replace your BCM and then your problem is solved. You can try to make sure by giving direct current of 12v to the solenoid and check the Steering. if it works then simply change the BCM as it's not giving d command to the Solenoid. Salman EiD

Chevy cobalt noise knocking in front end when you turn the steering wheel from left to right. Also knocking noise over bumps.

Hello and welcome. this noise is normally caused by a noisey steering I-shaft. there is a steering shaft that goes in between the steering column and the steering gear. this shaft has a slip joint that becomes noisey. all you need to do is lube the i-shaft with some special lube and you will be good to go

2002 rangerover vogue petrol nearside front suspension goes down overnight any ideas to put right please

I expect this has an air system within the suspension allowing you to vary the ride and its height. If the suspension is dropping overnight this would be from a leak within the system or a valve that is allowing air to bleed back and leak out. You'll have to locate the leak which may be in one of the shocks/air bags. Being these are tied together by a common system if one were to leak the pressure in the system will equalize causing the entire system to lower its pressure. I hope this may have assisted,
Tom
