The weld has broken on the seat. Take the seat out and find a welder. Thats the only fix. Seems to be very common with this car.

SOURCE: Need to replace passenger side mirror of 2004 Chevy Malibu max

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

2004 saab rear seat removal

The three usual ways to remove lower portion of seat (depending on make of vehicle) are -
1. If possible move front seats all the way forward and get in back so you can use knee to push in hard (towards back of car) on lower section while pulling front edge up. Seat is hooked in tab on floor of car. You have to do this on both sides.
2. At spot where carpet goes under lip of lower cushion look for small tabs. You pull the tab and pull up on front of seat. Again on both sides.
3. At rear edge of lower cushion press down (usually near those tabs for car seat) and look for bolt that holds back of seat in. You have to crush cushion down and use a light but you will see a bolt on each side that must be taken out. Bolt is going through a metal hoop that is part of seat frame.

Seat warmers on drivers side have gone out. How do you fix or replace?

depending on if it is the seat bottom or the seat back as they are seperate systems if both dont work then you probably have a electrical problem with the module or the switch not the heaters them selves, if it is one of the heaters then you must remove the seat cushion and replace it or the seat back cushion the heaters are intergrated into the foam the seat cushion unbolts with two fifteen millimeter nuts just under the front of the seat and unclips from the rear as you pull up and forward the seat back cushion is much more involved and should be done by a pro

How do you remove the rear seat of 2004 honda accord

Release the two latches at the front of the seat cushion (pull back on the latches to release the front of the cushion).

Remove the seat cushion bolt and remove the cushion (it’s roughly in the center. You have to insert a socket extension between the back and bottom seat cushions to take it out, after you find it by pressuring the bottom cushion and looking back in there).

Remove the bolts (each side) securing the seat side bolsters (they are easy to see once the bottom cushion is removed), then remove the side bolters (gently release the clips that hold them in).

Pull the seat forward, then remove the fasteners securing the seat hinge (seat pivot bracket) and remove the seat backs.

Hope this helps you.

Car seat warmer

You should be able to move the seat forward to get to the wiring harness. The way the system works is power comes from heated seat module to the lower cushion on the WH/BU wire goes thru the element in the cushion and then comes out on the BU/WH wire and then goes thru the element in the seat back then out on WH/RD wire back to module. If it has an open circuit then no heat from either on cushion or seat back. You can check them with an ohm meter. Usually it is the element in the cushion that goes bad. You can get the element seperately but cover has to be removed to replace it.
