1995 Mercury Tracer Rear lights not working

My tail lights wont turn on. I've checked the fuse it's fine, I've checked the bulbs they're fine, I've checked the wiring and it also appears to be fine. Do my brake lights and my tail lights share the same bulb? Because the break lights work.

Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.

99 mercury mystide had rear running light broken

If the driver's side tail light is working, it's not a fuse. Use a test light to check for power at the bulb holder. One terminal will be for tail light, the other for brake/turn light. If the is constant power for tail light, replace bulb. If no power, trace wiring from bulb holder to driver's side junction. Probable broken wire between the two tail lights.

white with tan tracer....brake lights
light green...left turn
tan ....right turn
black with yellow tracer....tail lamp
violet with black tracer....backup lamps

as far as the bulb not lighting it could be either the socket or the circuit board
