So is the problem still there? and if so it may be the fuel pump going bad. Have a pressure test done on it to find out if pump is weak...Common problem when they shut off like that...hope i unerstood your problem correctly and good luck..if this info helps then Please rate my post..

SOURCE: F250 spins over well will not start

Sounds like a faulty crank sensor. Can also be caused by a faulty cam sensor.

SOURCE: replaced fuel pump in 2000 hyundai elantra and

well if she ran it to long with no oil it might be locked up and might be able to turn it over if its not to bad. but you should still get power going to your fuel pump i would check all connection going to fuel pump and no broken wires. try even un plugging battery to see if there's a bypass

Cruz Control Inop. Worked great, Recently Had a bad exaust Manifold Leak, Studs snapped off. after a while off driving like this, 2months, Cruz not working, Push button Cruz indicator lite would come

Sorry no ideas here ,other than get a diesel vehicle for towing as you couldnt afford to run this vehicle here in europe at our fuel prices ,the diesel engine is cooler running so no problem with manifolds but your cruise should not be affected buy a blowing exhaust manifold the only thing affected by this would be your emmisions though as the lamba sensor will not be reading correctly which could cause more fuel to be burnt as it will read a weak mixture .I know nothing about the cruise on this vehicle as not many vehicles use it here in europe ,the roads are too short between the bends and too many vehicles on the road try driving through paris or london

During my traveling 40 miles each day to work and back, my 1991 Accord simply stops running while going down the road. I have to pull off the road and continue trying to start it, sit and wait, sometimes...

Have you replaced the main power relay? It's what causes the 90's Accords to just suddenly shut off and not want to start back for a few. Also, how old is your distributor? It's another problem part on those Accords, that has all these sensors inside that go bad.

F250 7.3 liter loss of power during driving

Sounds to me like a fuel filter/water seperator issue, not enough fuel pressure at higher speeds due to the restriction of fuel but runs when engine is slowed down or idling. Also there is a recall of the 07S57cam position(CMP) sensor that Ford will replace for free! I hope this helps...
