What are the possible causes of overheating in a 2007 terios? We've eliminated the thermostat, the fan is working and its a new radiator. I can't drive more than a few kilometers and the water in the coolant bottle starts boiling and blowing steam.
It may be insufficient coolant, thermostat failure, coolant temperature sensor failure, etc. A situation like yours needs to be dealt with in a timely and correct manner; if it is not dealt with properly, it will cause the expensive engine to malfunction. If the repair price is too high, I suggest you buy a new one. You can find the prices (or harga Terios in Indonesian) of other models on the official website.

Hi ,engine oil in the coolant can only mean 1 of 2 things either head gasket or cracked block,It often takes experienced eye to see where the gasket problem is, it wont be :cracked:in that sense of the word, but I`m sure that will be the trouble... for oil to be in the water the leak will be between an oil gallery hol;e and a water jacket hole and the onlyevidence may be a darker colour between the 2 holes it wont be abig section ,or the oil pressure would have pushed alot of oil through into the water i think it is on an oil return gallery, unless there was a lot of oil.if you know an experienced older mechanic ask him to have a look at the gasket for you.I doubt it will be a cracked block ,unless you have had it realy hot and added cold water to the engine while it was hot. If not I sugest you clean every thing nicely and put anew head gasket on put it back together..If you need any help in that area, dont hesitate to get back to me and i`ll help where Ican, thanks

Having never actually seen one, I'm guessing there's a drive shaft though, it's probably the u-joint(s) worn out, is there vibrations as well with the noise?
