REC Nav Bluetooth has a poor connection

I have the rec NAV unit with Uconnect in my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. The phone audio has deteriorated to the point that the people I call complain that they can't understand the conversation because the audio is digitized. When I listen to my voicemail, I can barely understand the recording. The problem exists no matter what phone is paired to the REC. Is there a compatibility issue surrounding the Bluetooth connectivity?

My uconnect stop working. How do I fix it?

Try to turn off and on your Bluetooth on your phone, uconnect might not connect your phone automatically if it's not your favourite. You can see on your settings on uconnect. If that doesn't help, take it to the dealer, it might need a quick update. Good luck

Were is the nav disc

found this in a jeep forum

The navigation disc loads into the lower tray on the REC radio. A special tab needs to be pushed downward and pried outward to release the cover. The tab is located on the left side of the DVD tray

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Navigation Issue The

Look on ebay for an REC Joystick replacement. In the mean time you can hold down the middle button on the right side of the back of the steering wheel, where you can control the radio features. When you hold this button down, a little red wheel symbol appears on the navigation screen which means you can control the navigation system from the steering wheel controls. This works for simple tasks until you get the replacement joystick. They are about $30 and take about an hour to install.
