I had a 1997 s10 4*4 with the 2.8 v6.
mine do that I had to pull the gas tank replace fuel filter plus had to take undo the line from the intake and blow air thru it. Make sure all u're filter are replaced and y u have the tank down replace the fuel pump. I hope this helps u

I believe what you are looking for is on the top of the ******. Probably started up and had no power when you step on the gas? Kind of felt doggy? This part is a cheap fix but alot of work to get to. Need to lower the ******. 12 pack of beer and a good saturday afternoon.

nope, the 97 Blazer does not have a cabin air filter. I have a 97 Blazer as well. We just have the one rectangular air filter that's in the air cleaner housing under the hood.

the vent hose you are looking for is located off of the gas tank it should be beside your filler hose. if you don't see one there then you tank has a vent on top that is the problen and probably needs replaced

Sounds like water/debris in the gas tank. Try adding dry gas to the tank. Changing the fuel filter also a good idea.

95-94-93 4.3 vortec are compatable engines. 97 4.3 will fit but will have problems with sensors and computer
