SOURCE: 93 honda accord leaking oil from distributor

remove your distributor and most cars have an o ring which seals the distributor when it is in its mounted position if the o ring is broken or has gone hard it will leak as it is made of rubber you can buy a new one for about 3 pounds maximum but makr sure you put a mark on the distributor and the engine before you remove it because it is timed and if you dont put it back in the same place you will incuer running problens with the car or it will not start when you put it back together

SOURCE: transmission oil leak

Re-torque the pan bolts. If that doen't help then may just give it a transmission oil anf filter change. Would not hurt to service it if your going to keep it longer then the times your going to clean up the oil satins on the drive way. Good luck

SOURCE: Motor Oil leaks from 1999 Honda Civic EX

make sure they are tight
could be time for head gaskets
make sure the old gasket from the old filter came off the block sometimes they come off old filter and stick this causes a leak due to improper seal.

SOURCE: i have a 1999 Honda Accord V6 and cant find trans fill point

Just the very top ring of the transmission dipstick is visible with the air filter housing lifted up. Removing the upper air filter housing and the rubber ducting for the intake will allow enough room for a transmission funnel to be used.

How do i fix honda prelude 92 sports transmission fluid leaking in to radiator have put in new radiator and still leaking in?

transmission oil gets into the cooling system by a crack in the cooling coil in the radiator tank. When you say new radiator and it is still leaking oil into the radiator then either the radiator is second hand new or the transmission oil pressure is too high. have a transmission pressure checked before you fit an off the shelf still in the original wrapping new radiator. If the radiator is in good condition and not partially blocked it is possible to replace the tank that has the cooling coil in it. It is essential to properly flush out the engine using the correct detergents ensuring that all the systems are opened.. The next option is an air to air cooler for the transmission which is better than the radiator cooler idea.Costs about the same as a brand new radiator.

Transmission fluid keeps emptying while motor oil keeps rising

Your radiator needs to be replaced. Chances are you have transmission and oil cooler lines going through them and there are mixing inside the radiator.

Transmission fluid

You are correct to be concerned. Look and see if the transmission has any vacuum lines. If it does, check the lines by disconnecting them and see if transmission fluid is inside the lines. If there is transmission fluid present, the engine is drawing the fluid out of the transmission and burning it in the combustion chambers.

Radiator overflow- Check color of antifreeze in overflow tank. The radiator can have 2 chambers. If the chambers breach, the fluids can mix. Since the overflow can vent the excess fluids, it can provide an outlet for the trans fluid.
Leaks, most common. There should be staining and presence of oily residue. Check for lower cooling coil assembly. Some Makers use a separate cooling unit similar to a steering cooler if a 2 chamber radiator is not equipped.
You may be able to simply go to a quick change oil shop and drive over their service bay. They could check for leaks.

1999 Honda Accord passengers side motor mount\r\nSeems to be leaking fluid. Spoke with NAPA and they don't show a motor mount on this vehicle being filled with fluid. Any suggestions?

there could be a transmission line or power steering line that runs near or over the mount that may be leaking or the motor or tranny depending on witch side the mount is on may be leaking onto the mount also a more closer inspection would be in need.

98 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC Auto-Tiptronic Transmission Problems

I own a 1999 Honda Prelude base model with a automatic sequential tiptronic trans. If your willing to try a couple of things you might get lucky a save your trans. If my suggestions doesn't help your trans
performance then it time to pull out the pocket book. Drain the trans
fluid. Flush the cooler. Remove the 2 solenoid right by the starter motor. Most likely the 2 metal screens are plugged up. Clean them up with parts cleaner. Then wire the solenoids to a battery so when you spray into them with the parts cleaner you can energize the solenoids while spraying cleaner into the 2 ports. The purpose of this is to free up anything that could be making the solenoids stick. Reassemble the
solenoids back onto the trans. Fill the trans with 3 Qts. of OEM Honda fluid. Run the gears through the gears. Then drain that fluid. Do this one more cycle. On the last fill pour a bootle of Lube Guard Additive to condtion the fluid. Good Luck

Honda prelude a/t transmission

Check transmission fluid, our cars are pretty low and unfortunately automatics transmission sit pretty low so its possible you have a leak below or are just running low on transmission fluid.
