Check Engine Light On Volvo S80 2000

I checked with the OBD Autoscanner, and it read "Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering P1132." I changed my gas cap and drove over 350 miles, but the light remains on.

    I have check engine lightlight on 2000 volvos80

  • Anonymous Jan 26, 2009

    This light is constantly on in my car. I dissapears for maybe 20-50km after I get an oil change, and the mechanic takes a look into why it might be on. But then as I said, about 20-50km afterward the light comes back on for what appears to be no apparent reason.

What' mean Heater Control Circuit Sensor,Bank2,Sensor 1,Volvo S80,2000?

Heater control circuit is your O2/oxygen sensor which controls your emissions and keeps the car running efficiently. They go out quite frequently and need to be replaced. Wont cause any drivability issues other then lower fuel economy and check engine light. Sensors run between $50-$200 each.

Hi everyone, Check Engine Light came on last night on my 2007 S40 2.4i with 68K miles on. I had the OBD II scanned with Actron OBD II AutoScanner and got P2402 code (Leak diagnostic unit, pump; Leak...

Signal too high

Checking the wiring
Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B23 (#C23) and leak diagnostic unit terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.
<the terminals are marked>

This usually means the computer is having issues!

Check engine light is on. OBD reads p0191 &

Replacement of the fuel pump would be the case here,unless the fuel filter needs to be changed.To find out,remove the fuel filter,and blow threw it with your mouth,kinda tast bad but it will tell you if the fuel filter is restricted.You should be able to blow threw it easy.

Engine starts but stalls, misfires intermitenly while driving.

Try looking at the idle/air control valve - Look around where the gas cables attach to the engine. remove the wires and then unbolt the unit from the engine. The control valve has a spring valve that you can clean with intake cleaner. re-install the valve and drive to warm up the vehicle. After 20 minutes the vehicle should Idle. If not clear all codes and relist them here - hope tthis helps
