I have a 2000 plymouth voyager and I don't know where my manual is. It started snowing today and all the sudden the ABS light came on. Do I need to go get something repaired? I don't have any money if I do, so is this thing serious? Can it wait till I can afford to fix it?
No need to worry, If you need to wait a while to get it fixed it won't make your van unsafe to drive. What more than likely happened is one of your ABS wheel sensors quit working on you. If you know someone with a Snap On Scanner with the ABS reader cartrage, you can find out wich one is not working. Untill then, you can safely drive, just keep in mind if you do slam on your brakes in the snow or ice, they will lock. It would be like driving an older vehicle without ABS. Anyway, no harm will come to you or your van because of the light on.
Hope this helps!
When abs light went on was u pressing brakes at the time,is abs light still on & yes you'll need to get it repaired if its anything like abs sensor you should be ok but i do warn you if abs kicks in that particular wheel will not work through abs brakes will still work though.
