I have 99 Chevy Blazer. I never know when its gonna start. Some times it starts fine days in a row and then other days it wont start at all..Ive had to keep it running so Im able to use it. There was a new fuel pump put in it bout 5 months ago, as well as a fuel filter. Any Ideas?
Fuel filter is acheap part ur car needs and it cause the same, or coil can go out slowly. take it parts stare to have it checked good luk claymister
I had the same problem with my 99 blazer, turned out to be a cracked distributor cap. if left outside instead of in the garage the problem was occuring more often.

I can hear the fuel pump turning on tho...the little buzzing noise
how do i tell if it has enough pressure?
It didnt start yesterday morning, then it started all day yesterday and its been starting all day today. If the fuel pressure was the issue wouldnt it do that all the time and never want to start?
drives for 45 mins freeway shuts off while driving and wont start til 1hr at the longest
NO fools the computer sometimes Next time that it wont start try spraying starting fluid into the air intake. If it runs you know its a fuel problem.
With a fuel pressure gauge. Fuel pressure tester on the fuel line going to throttle body or fuel rail there is a fitting looks like a valve stem twist off cap screw on the tester . Not sure of the pressure maybe call the dealer for that.
It may still be the fuel pump not enough fuel pressure.
Maybe a defective fuel pump.
