SOURCE: Adjustment headlights '02 Hyundai Elantra

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

SOURCE: oil change procedure on a 2005 Hyundai elantra

This one is simple

1. Remove dip stick and filler cap.
2. Remove oil plug from oil pan and drain oil into an appropriate pan.
3. Remove and replace oil filter. (Filter will drain oil, just be aware to try and get it into the pan.
4. Refill oil. Start with 3.5 quarts, put cap and dip stick back on and start car, wait about 10 seconds and then turn off.
5. Check your dipstick for proper oil level.

And thats it you are done.

2010 Hyundai Elantra stuck in park

tried to shift from park to another gear, the shifter would not move.

There are a few possible reasons why your 2010 Hyundai Elantra may be stuck in park even with functioning brake lights and a replaced brake switch and interlock solenoid. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the fuse: Ensure that the fuse for the brake lights and shift interlock system is not blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse of the same rating.

2. Inspect the wiring: Examine the wiring that connects the brake lights, brake switch, and shift interlock solenoid. Look for any signs of damage or loose connections. Repair or replace any faulty wiring as necessary.

3. Test the brake light switch: Even though you have replaced the brake switch, it is still possible that the new switch is defective. Use a multimeter to check for continuity when the brake pedal is pressed. If there is no continuity, the brake

How do I know when my Traction control is working on my 2010 Touring? We live in Northeastern Ohio and I seem to be sliding alot when I go to stop and I'm not speeding. Thank You!

A good way of testing the traction control is to stop on a slippery road and then take off fast as to spin the wheels there when wheels start to spin the traction should activate and stop the spinning wheels you may hear it kick inand a light on the dash will say trac active or trac on, as far as sliding when stopping this is where the abs would come in,abs anti skid brake system, this system when you are braking would release the sliding or skidding wheel and you would felt it in the brake pedal, good luck, hope this helps.

Installation instructions 2005 hyundai santa fe tail light

Hi

Open rear hatch,
locate 3 philips screws on the right side of lamp,
note that the lamp assembly is held into the fender side by a plastic tab( hidden ). You have to stand at the rear fender side, facing the lamp and pull the lamp toward you carefully.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i change the rear tail light lens on my 2008 hyundai veracruz

Open the rear hatch. Using a small straight edge screwdriver, insert the screwdriver into the slot at the top of each of the two screwcovers on the inside lip of the tail light assemby and carefull pry open. Remove the two screws using a philips screwdriver. Drape a small cloth over the head of a larger straight edge screwdriver and insert at the tip of the tail light assembly (on the rear side of the car and carefully turn back and forth while wiggling the entire assembly. This will eventually allow you to work the tail light assembly loose from the grip pin that is holding the assembly on. Once removed, replace the appropriate bulb. With the assembly still not installed, have someone step on the brake to ensure the new bulb is working properly. Reinstall assembly. Hope this was helpful....I just changed mine.
