SOURCE: my dealer says the switch for the windshield

The cost of your part retail and NOT dealer (dealers usually mark WAY UP) is about $195 you can see one here.http://www.autopartsdeal.com/catalog/?N=0&uts=true&Ntt=2003+Oldsmobile+Aurora+AC+Delco+Switch+Assembly

The issue is that the wipers are controlled on the turn signal column, etc. So whole part has to be replaced. Dealer labor rates run about $85 per hour and the book says this is less than 2 hour job if done right. Be careful if you want to do it yourself as you will be working with the electrical in the steering column and the airbag is located in that area. Ive seen accidental activations by shorting out wiring.

SOURCE: i have a 98 olds aurora can i put a 95 aurora

I would doubt it.

The 1995 engine runs on the older OBDI system whereas the 1998 runs on the newer OBDII.

SOURCE: Wipers will not turn off on my 2002 oldsmobile Aurora?

Switch, relay, circuit or the motor itself is shorted.

My windshields wipers wont work

If that happens, your windshield wipers will not work at all and you won't be able to clear any water, dirt, or snow that ends up on your windshield. Replace the windshield wiper motor right away. The windshield wiper fuse is burnt out. When the windshield wiper motor is overloaded, the fuse burns out.23 Nov 2015

My Windshield Wipers will not turn off

I believe you have what some call a "multi-switch" on the steering column for the wipers.
That part may be broken inside, considering it is most all plastic inside.
Also consider the other solution to be the wiper motor.
Some wiper motors occasionally do this also.
Neither of these is very common as a problem.
Neither of these is really easy to fix.
If it were possible, you might consider finding someone who could test these before you pay to have either part replaced.
Be blessed.

95 olds aurora fuel pump wont shut off when turn engine off

It's your air pump running, not your fuel pump. Probably have a small air leak in hoses to shocks.

My dealer says the switch for the windshield wipers on my 2002 olds aurora needs to be replaced. How much should that cost?

Windshield wipers turn on by themselves for 2 or 3 swipes and turn off by themselves

These are "rain sensing" wipers and will occasionally do this based on the sensitivity setting and the amount of light outside. Most of the time the system works fairly well, I sometimes leave the wipers off if it's dry out.

Windshield Wiper System The windshield wiper system consists of :
  • Windshield wiper motor (17508) (F-type).
  • Washer system.
  • Windshield wiper control module.
  • Turn signal and windshield wiper switch (13K359).
The windshield wiper control module is:
  • Located at the instrument panel fuse panel.
The windshield wiper motor is:
  • Attached to the cowl top extension (021A36) .
  • Connected to windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft (17566) .
The turn signal and windshield wiper switch features a:
  • Rotary wiper switch.
  • Push type washer actuator.
OFF/Low/High Speed
  • Has a two-speed, permanent magnet, three brush electric windshield wiper motor .
  • The windshield wiper motor has a brush rigging that permits selection of low or high speed.
  • When the turn signal and windshield wiper switch is in the LO position, the common brush and the blue/orange wire brush are used, and the windshield wiper motor operates at low speed.
  • When the turn signal and windshield wiper switch is in the HI position, the common brush and the white wire brush are used.
  • In HI position, electric current will bypass a portion of the armature winding causing the windshield wiper motor to operate faster.
  • When the turn signal and windshield wiper switch is moved to the OFF position, the windshield wiper motor will continue at low speed until the park switch outer contacts open.
  • When the park switch contacts open, the windshield wiper motor stops in the park position.
Interval
When the turn signal and windshield wiper switch is in the interval position:
  • The wipers make single wipes separated by pauses.
  • The rotary switch is on the end of turn signal and windshield wiper switch .
  • The length of the pause can be set from approximately 1 to 17 seconds.
  • Length of pause decreases as the rotary switch is rotated away from off.
  • Length of pause increases as the rotary switch is rotated toward off.
While in the interval wiper mode:
  • It is normal to hear a slight click at the beginning of each on/pause cycle. NOTE: When using interval wipers, the first wipe may not occur until after a pause of up to 17 seconds.
