Putting 19 inch 2007 porsche 911 turbo wheels on 2001 like car

My 2001 Porsche 911 turbo has 18 inch wheels of different widths than my new wheels from a 2007 porsche 911 turbo. Will spacers be necessary? The 2007 wheels have no tires on them now but had rear tires sized 305/30 19, will these tires fit on my 2001 turbo or should I go to a slightly smaller tire in the rear? If I do go to a smaller tire in the rear will that eliminate the need of spacers or do they have anything to do with each other? The front 2007 wheels came with 235/35 19 tires, will this size tires fit on the front of my 2001 turbo with the 2007 wheels? thanks for your help.

How do I change the oil on a Porsche 911 Turbo? Anything I sould know?

  • Jack up your Porsche using a floor jack and place the car securely on jack stands at all four corners using the factory jacking points.
  • 2 Place an oil container under the oil drain plug of the motor.
  • 3 Using an 8-mm allen socket, remove the drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan.
  • 4 Let the oil drain thoroughly--this will take about 20 to 25 minutes.
  • 5 Once all the oil is drained from the engine, install a new drain plug along with a new aluminum sealing washer. Tighten the drain plug to 37 lbs .

  • The oil filter cartridge is located in front of the oil pan on the right side. With an oil filter removal wrench, unscrew and remove the cartridge. Be careful of spilling oil.
  • Install a new oil filter cartridge and O-ring. Before installation, run a bead of oil around the O-ring to lubricate it. Torque the oil filter cartridge to 19 lbs.
  • Pour new oil into the oil filler neck located in the engine bay. 1998 to 2001 911s (996) take 8.5 quarts, and 2004 and up take 8.25 quarts. Newer 911s (997) take 9 quarts. When filling the engine with oil, pour in 8 quarts and then use the dipstick to get the amount of oil exact.
  • Lower the car off the jackstands.

    Battery

Hi Nick. you need a 12 volt battery of this size:
    • Length: 11.5625 in
    • Width: 6.875 in
    • Height: 6.875 in
    • to fit into your space. bring the old one to your parts store if possible. clean the terminals with wire wool or scotch bright and apply Vaseline petroleum jelly to them after fitting. Cover the top with a plastic sheet or something, corrugated plastic is good, if it does not already have a cover. For your fuel pump any model 924 pump that has the same pipe connection will work, the wiring is simple and the same on them all. You also need to check your fuel pump relay and check that the fuel pump has 12volts supply and a good earth
