Heater cores been replaced systems been flushed thermostate been replaced yet I get just warm air from heater. heater valve is working. It was back flushed via a heater hose that connects to the intake and it belched a bunch of water when it was getting flushed and after that the heater worked great for one day and then went back to warm. Thought about an air block but wondering how to get it out. Tried everything pulling hose running pressure through the system nothing works except that one time. Thought maybe something is blocking in the block don't know.. got any ideas?

Its your vacum valve behind the heater matrix in the engine compartment LHS
Repeat backflush procedure to replicate fix.....use a radiator cleaner to clear blockages with all heater switches open so it circulates cleaner through heater plumbing as well...is it global to all settings ..defrost/ main heat ..floor heat etc?
ok...that you had heat one time tells us it will work proper with everything happy....assuming blockage ..do as i suggested...assuming air blockage...usually driving will fix that after burping system best as possible.... so why doesnt it circulate?... can you squeeze upper radiator hose once engine warm w/o injury and tell if you have hot water circulating? same for heater hose in front of then behind heater valve ?

yes it is global.
Having the same problem with my 97 Astro... But even if it was the thermostat stuck open wouldn't the van eventually get hot? Mine will eventually get slightly warm and the guage does not move.
