SOURCE: no power at fuel pump chev.S-10 looking for fuel pump relay and fuse

The fuel pump relay is located Under hood, driver side, upper firewall, mounted in relay block.

The fuse is located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. The fuse block should be visible from underneath the steering column, near the pedal bracket. If the panel is not visible, check for a removable compartment door or trim panel which may be used on later models to hide the block.

SOURCE: no power to fuel pump no hum when key on and inj not pulsing

I can't speak for the electronics in your Chevy Sub. however I had experienced this same problem on my Montero and on my son's Dodge Stealth (it too is a Mitsubishi) in both cases I had spark but no injector pulse. In the end both ended up being the engine ECU units, once changed they ran and are running fine. Any chance you know someone with the same truck? If so confirm the part number and swap in their ECU unit. If your car then runs you know the answer. Good luck!

Put new fuel pump in there is NO power to fuel pump. But everything else has power, fuses are good. And now gas gauge don't work. It is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country

Fuel pump might be deprived of power by the immobiliser or a relay or bad connections or wiring. The circuit will need checking through but the fuel gauge is likely to have a different circuit, though the two might have a common ground connection.

Refer to a wiring diagram to check...

Is there a fuse or relay for the fuel gauge, does the gauge share a fuse with other electrical consumers ?

should be a fuse in fuse panel for all gauges, not one per gauge.. there is a fuel pump relay on most fuel injection cars but that gives fuel pump power . most of the time if fuel gauge is not working its the sending unit inside the tank ,wich if your in there might as well change fuel pump to.

there maybe a switch between the two tanks ,it must be replaced by a new one,to let the fuel on the other tank pass into the fuel pump.

did you change sending unit? that is what sends the signal of amount of fuel. if so then your gauge motor is worn. get a new cluster from wreckers. check all wiring for bad grounds

Well there are a few conditions that can cause this. Number one would be a bad fuel pump. There is also a sensor that cuts power to the fuel pump in case of an accident, I have had one of these go bad drove me crazy. There is also the security system and a fuel pump relay. I would have to say it is probably your fuel pump, also there is a float that controls your gauge in your fuel tank, when these floats stick they will give a wrong reading to your fuel gauge.

Imaccurate fuel gauge

I would check the fuses for a blown fuse and check the fuel pump relay. It sounds like you aren't getting power back to the fuel pump/sending unit.

01 chevy impala. power mirrors and gas gauge not working

Check all fuses and relays. As far as the gas gauge, you may need a new fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or the float on the fuel pump is loose or came off from ear and tear. The mirrors: check the fuses; also, check, or have the button panel in the door checked to ensure the connection are secure. May need a new switch for the mirrors. I am not familiar with this vehicle; but this is what I suggest doing to solve the issues.
