The stall problem could be a faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle body. The computer uses the valve to adjust base idle speed depending on the load on the engine.

SOURCE: 2005 Mercury Mountaineer shuts off

Could be a number of things and the information is a little vague. Does it do it when cold, warm, after driving for a distance etc. It might pay to have some one run a diagnostic machine on it. The cost for the test could actually save you money. Just make sure they have a good reputation.

2004 mercury mountaineer slight winning noise when coming to a stop and oil gauge slightly high ?

Sounds like a bearing starting to go somewhere in the driveline; assuming the differential and transfer case are full. As to the oil pressure; If you have the correct weight of oil in the engine and it has been changed on schedule; the higher the better.

2005 colorado stalling

Well I would start there.
The computer takes the engine and air temp and regulates the amount of on time for the injectors among other things.
Make sure the coolant level is full, the thermostat is opening, and see if the code comes back. Could be a faulty sensor.

My 1993 dodge ram B250 wagon is showing signs of a bad fuel pump but mechanic says fuel pump is fine. Wants me to buy a new PCM (which we just did a month ago for a previous problem). The van was running...

one thing to look for is your gas gauge. if it doesnt read or your wagon constantly stops then i would go with the fuel pump. replace the pump and replace the fuel line any water in that line would be bad.

Gas gauge shows empty after filling gas tank. Eventually the gas gauge will register the proper level.

The gauge circuit is shunted on most cars, this is wierd, but needed to stabilize the readings... Your description sounds like normal function. Drivers would complain if the qauge were to be instant, going around corners, starting, stopping, all move fuel, and the gauge would indicate this, cauing driver alarm...Been this way for ever, although yours sounds like it is on the far side of the scale...if it reads correctly after a while, you could replace everything and you would have the same performance.

Not getting enough gas at stops

Check the fuel filter first, it might need changing. This is the cheapest and easiest thing to try first. If it doesn't help, then it's probably a more expensive fix, like a fuel sending unit. Good luck!
