2007 kia spectra alarm issues

Every time we try to start the car the alarm goes off, can't lock the doors, tried jump starting in case it was the battery, didn't work, tried unlocking and relocking with the remote but it didn't work, tried unlocking and locking with the key still the same, any suggestions

Disconnecting the battery isn't going to do anything , Having the electronic control module that is in control of the alarm system _ BCM - body control module ,check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes is the way to find the problem . Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop. You have no idea of the complexity of the electrtonics .

Have you tried disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery post and waiting about 20 minutes before reconnecting it.

Disable factory alarm

The alarm tripping is often caused by a bad door or hood switch. Since the hood switch is always exposed to water and corrosion, that one usually goes bad first. Check that out. And no, you can't disable it.

Disable factory alarm

You are not able to disarm the factory alarm on this vehicle. You will need to have it diagnosed. But the issues sounds to me like the key fob is bad and needs to be replaced

Alarm goes off and car wont start .I dont have a remote what can i do

if it is factory alarm you can put the key in the drivers door, turn to lock and then to unlock, the alarm should disarm.

My rear door makes a buzzing noise when i lock the doors... I have a 2004 kia spectra....

This noise could be cause from the door lock actuator. If this is the Problem it will need replacement. But in most cases if the actuator is faulty the locks will jump, and not always lock on that door.

The battery for the keyless entry keychain can be replaced at the jewelry counter at your local department store or a real jewelry shop. It is not generally too expensive and it will continue to
operate your vehicle's locks and alarms even if it has been dead for some time.

Left lights on ,and ran down battery. When i try to jump start, alarm goes off,key fob wont work till battery charges tried putting key in ignition and turning key, tried locking and unlocking door. what...

Find the alarm and disconnect it, or locate the fuse to the alarm and remove it. Then you can charge the battery without all the noise. Once the battery is charged, hook the alarm up and disarm it with the remote.
