When i put it in four wheel drive and try to turn it feels like the tire is rubbing the fender well and its difficult to turn

There's something seriously wrong in the transfer case or controls. It seems the rear driveshaft is locked up, and the front wheels are driving. The driver's side rear tire is skidding because it's trying to turn backward - rear passenger rear tire is going forward and rear differential has no option but to turn the driver tire in reverse (driveshaft locked). DON'T TRY TO DRIVE IT. Get it checked out and fixed.

A couple points here:
it is probably just the tire rubbing on the inside of a wheel well. Have a tire shop or mechanic check for wear of suspension components. Excessive wear on suspension arm bushings, ball joints, struts, etc. could cause "slop" or excessive travel forward and back which is not normal.
Itis also good practice to NEVER turn to steering all the way to the stops in any four or all-wheel drive vehicle.

Assuming that you have already ruled out the brakes, severely worn engine mounts can transmit vibration and noises from the engine which are not normally heard. You don't say in what I see but is the vehicle two or four wheel drive. Since you mention CV half shafts I have to assume it is at least front wheel drive. If the vehicle is four wheel drive then there is a front differential with bearings in it that may be at fault. Have you done both sides when you say "hub assembly". Defective hub bearings will make grinding noises which will change tone or intensity when turning, accelerating or braking however the noise is usually fairly constant unless they are only just starting to fail. CV joints don't normally "grind" unless they are really bad. They usually make progressively worse "clicking" sounds or "clunking" sounds especially when turning hard, changing gears or direction of travel (forward to reverse and back again). Do you have non-stock tires/wheels? Larger/wider than factory spec tire sizes can rub the fender wells when the car is moving or turning. Another thing it could possibly be is the air dam below the front bumper. If it is loose it will push down in the airstream while the car is moving and rub on the ground.

Per Tire Rack, for a 2001 330ci you could use 235/35-19 front and 245/35-19 in the rear. Wider tires for the same profile increase the tire's effective diameter(think wheel well gap above the tire) and will change both the odometer and speedometer readings. Additionally, the wider tires may cause rubbing of the fender or other components while turning unless the fenders are flared out.
Caliper clearance should be checked, usually M3 uses bigger calipers than stock. While they may look cool installed, there are several disadvantages to lolwer profile tires such as harsh ride, unforgiving of potholes/speedbumps, wider width is worse for snow application (cause that floating feeling). The 2008 wheel will have the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) .
Both have a bolt pattern of 5-120.

If all is fine when moving in a straight line - you are probably OK. Turning while in four wheel drive, especially a full hard over turn, puts a great amount of strain on the universal (or CV) joints of the steering axles. Although CV joints are smoother they too still have to supply power to the steering wheels at an angle while turning. If you have concerns about the CV or universal joints, jack up your vehicle, secure it with blocks at the wheels and put on jack stands, then inspect the joints checking for excess play. Rotate the front tires back and forth by hand while watching and feeling for unnatural movement or obvious broken joints. They may be difficult to see if covered with a rubber boot. If you do have boots, they need to be in good shape since they are designed to keep dirt out of the joint. If they are not in good shape, broken or split, they should be replaced. Thats a tall tire but it depends on the size tire/rims that are on it. I have a 91 taurus that has 14 inch rims, the only draw back on taller tires are the fender wells, make sure the tires do not rub the fenders. especially the front, if you put them on, turn the front wheels to the left, then check to feel or see that they do not rub. then turn wheels to the right and recheck for clearance. good luck, if the fit and clear.

What did you hear/feel? Most like something of a body work like a fender, or wheel cover inside the fender. Are the tires rubbing on anything?

If you have stock sized tires on it.. check the brakes.. also look for loose fender skirting near the wheel as a helper turns the wheel maxxed out to the right.. Lemmie know, Thanx
