2003 windstar no power past the battery ?

If you're sure the alternator is ok then there is another issue. I would definitely check all the fuses. I would need the make and year to further assist.

Before replacing alternator testing should be done , is there B+ voltage at the heavier gage wire on the back of the alternator . Could have a blown fuse or fusible link . Your vehicle from what you have posted , isn't charging . Plus there is a regular fuse located in the under hood fuse box F1.13 - 10 amp this supply's B+ voltage to the orange with lit blue stripe wire at the three wire connector plugged into the alternator . The other two wires come from the PCM - engine computer . This charging system is computer controlled . Ford PCM controlled alternator testing

There is no "reset" of the computer that is going to fix a battery light flashing on and off. There is a problem with your charging system that needs to be diagnosed. The computer network should first be scanned for any possible fault codes. If there are no fault codes present, then I would probably replace the alternator again. I get junk remanufactured alternators all the time (it seems there just isn't any quality out there anymore - too much stuff being exported just so greedy businessmen can have children clean them up, stick them in a box and ship them back). There have been some that I have had to replace 3 or 4 times before I finally got a good one.

Do you have power?
battery might be drained cause your alternator is not charging anymore, 2003, seems about time for a new alternator, those vehicles consume lots of power cause pretty much everything is electric, lots of motors and servos, so they depend a lot on a good power source from the battery. If alternator doesnt charge it, no power...

Have the altenator checked. It sounds like it may not be charging the system enough. Also check the cables for corrosion clean them up

have you checked the auto shutdown relay and fuel pump?

sounds like a bad fuse, have a look at your manual and see which fuse controls those parts, they are most likely on the same fuse, the fuse box may also say which fuse is for what, If the fuse in the first box doesn't fix it, try a new fuse in the box under the hood, let me know how this goes, you may also have corrosion in a wire but check the fuses first.
