Radio/Clock not working after battery replaced. I have the security code (5 digits) ...and I am the original owner of the car and it's not working. It's a 2005 Honda Civic LX. All factory...

some of these cars when replacing the battery you need to replace with the ground leed first or you may blow a fuse if you connect the possitive side first it sends power through the system with no where to go.. check your fuses and make sure they are all good use your car manual to find them as all cars are somewhat different. if you dont have the manual you may have to call the dealer to get one or just ask the mechanic where the fuse box to the radio and clock are located.... i hope this helps

I have a 2004 Honda Civic DX. My battery died, and I don't know the radio serial number because I purchased the car used.

Only a Honda dealer can give the code after removing the
radio and obtaining the serial number. Before you go, if
you have the owners manual or any papers that came with
the care look through them it might be written down some
where (5 digits).

I found the digit number now i need the 5 digit code to unlock it please! on 2002 honda civic si

You're talking about the radio, right? Look in your owners manual, sometimes the previous owner wrote it down-also, look in the glove box, for a sticker-I once found it on a sticker ON THE RADIO when I removed it.

lots of good information here:

Code radio honda civic 2004

you will need the radios serial number which is located on top of the unit itself. Then take that number and any Honda dealer will be able to give you the new code. Sometimes it is on a sticker with your owners manual. i am still a tech and we run into this all of the time on Hondas.

I need radio code for 2001 hoda civic

Have you checked the original owners manual? Had this happen with my CRV. The number will be a 5 digit number and will probably be written in the information at the very front of the manual. Try any 5 digit numbers that you see there. Thats how I got mine working again. Good luck.

I need the radio code for my honda civic LX 2006, cause it shows ENTER CODE, the serial number is GGZ25082140 the ref# is MF726AC

Clean out your glove box.

Use a flashlight and look for a 5 digits sticker one the left side of the glove box (CLOSER to the radio) or under the truck.

Enter the code with KEY ON (not starting engine) position.

Write this number down on the owner's manual for future reference.
