Drain the system. Remove the upper radiator cover and the dual cooling fans (4 bolts and an electrical connector). Disconnect the transmission cooler lines and the upper and lower hoses.. The radiator should freely pull straight up and out. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.

I have a 1994 chev lumina van and it's running

HI,I would perform a cooling system pressure test to check for leaks.Be sure to test the radiator cap.A radiator cap can let your car boil over before it overheats, causing it to overheat. If you don't have a cooling system pressure tester,Autozone rents then, just pay for it,use it and return it for your money back.Hope this helps.Let me know what you find.Any more questions just ask and i'll try to help.Thank You for using fixya.....iluv2fish......Ray....

Radiator Cooling fans pull or push air (93 Chevy Lumina 3.1 L) ?

A radiator fan is designed to pull air to pull air through the radiator to help cool it, while blowing the air on back across the engine to try to assist once again at keeping the unit running cool as to not over heat.

Need to chang a heater core in this van its a 92 lumana apv

Disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes on the upper right side of the firewall (Its somewhat of a long reach but you can do it) Drain the radiator and then remove the heater core. Its inside the van located in the heater box under the passenger side of the dash board. I believe you may have to remove the inner glove box. I know that is the case on the TransPort and the Silhouette but the Lumina dash is somewhat different in style.

Bad heater fan motor in 1990 Chevy Lumina APV van.

It on the fire wall. Look up under dash from under the hood. You'll need a 9/32 nut driver to loosen the screws.
