while trying to turn the key turn the steering wheel back and forth
sometime it binds the key switch
if that doesnt work let me know you have deeper problems

You have to bleed the pump and rent a pulley puller but if you are mechanically inclined it should be relatively easy although time consuming.I am attaching a picture

WELL YOU COULD PULL THE BELT TO SEE IF IT GOSE AWAY BUT ITS SOUND LIKE THEY DID SOMTHING RONG OR THEY RAN IT LOW OR SOMTHING IS NOT RIGHT WITH NEW PUMP SEAN THIS MANY TIMES IF THERE NOT BLEEDING IT RIGHT YOU CAN DAMAGE THE PUMP RIGHT AWAY SEEN DEARL SHIP GUYS DAMAGE PUMP BUY NOT DOING IT RIGHT AND BE SURE THEY ARE NOT USEING AFTER MARKET STUFF MANY ISUSES WITH THEM THIS CAR IS NOWEN TO HAVE TIE ROD END ISUSES THEY SOUND LIKE GROWLING NOISE HOPE THIS HELPS

Had the same problem and the only way to fix it was replacing the steering pump.

CHECK ALL THE PULLEYS WITH BELT OFF TO SEE IF ANY HAVE PLAY IN BEARINGS
OR ARE CONTAMINATED FROM PREVIOUS BELTS SLIPPING MAKE SURE THEY ALL ROTATE FREELY WITH NO SOUND
