READING CODES USING MIL (CHECK ENGINE) LAMP
Be advised that the MIL or CHECK ENGINE light can only perform a limited number of functions and it is a good idea to have the system checked with a scan tool to double check the circuit function.
The number of flashes represents the trouble code. There is a short pause between the flashes representing the 1st and 2nd digits of the code. Longer pauses are used to separate individual 2-digit trouble codes.
An example of a flashed DTC is as follows:
Lamp flashes 4 times, pauses, then flashes 6 more times. This denotes a DTC number 46.
Lamp flashes 5 times, pauses, then flashes 5 more times. This indicates a DTC number 55. DTC 55 will always be the last code to be displayed.

12..Battery was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles (Resets after 50)
They dont list the others may want to recount the flashes..

I don't have a dodge ram but the codes for the dodge vehicles where pretty much the same. For my intrepid the codes read for the following numbers
12 - Problem with battery connection (This usually happens if you disconnect the battery)
21 - Problem with the oxygen sensor circuit
52 - Oxygen Sensor signal input indicates rich mixture during engine operation.
It sounds like you may need to change an oxygen sensor. Hope this helps.

i did that one is there is no vehicle speed scencor witch would explain why my speedo does not work after pullin new vehicle speed scencor then there waz a fuel system lean what causes that the car really hesatates on start then when it does start it runs fine but if its is less then half tank and take a left turn and only left it will sputter and load up and die if i dont put clutch in any ideas
and where is check engine light ihave never seen it not even when i turn key on and all lights come on i only see a survice engine soon light that goe on andoff
Service soon light check engine light same thing.Have you changed the fuel filter at all, if not i would start there. If you change it take the old one and hold it over a white piece of paper and shake it and see if you see any specks of dirt on the paper.
ihave not changer fuel filter but if car has about half of tank it runs fine but still hesatates to start but if its lower then half the car will cut out wile doing a left turn and only left turn
