Unless you have air tools with and air compressor. Your going to have to pry off those tie rod with a air hammer with a prying fork. It not that expensive. Buy the tie rods yourself so you dont get stiffed and call around for the best deal.

i changed mine without the filter because i could not find one. i had no problem. the drain was in the bottom.

IT IS A LITTLE BULB IN THE GEAR SELECTOR SAME AS ASTRAY LIGHT IT COSTS 10.00 AT A VOLVO DEALER AND THE REASON IT KEEPS BURNING OUT IS THAT BUMPS IN THE ROAD CAN SHOCK IT AND YES IT WILL BURN OUT

Remove drivers side underdash sound proofing panel, remove accelerator pedal(yeah I know). Fold carpet back remove three retaining screws from cover, fold cover up. remove filter by moving it out behind brake pedal.

usually when the visor break, three things you can do, one is to take it apart( the arm of the visor) slowly and look for a broken plastic part pieces which you can superglue it back together, if the broken plastic peice is not still there and missing then you will have to replace it with the new one. Junkyard or ebay may carry some used. Dealer wont be that expensive either. 3rd, take the lens off and remove the bulb from the visor, this way it wont drain the battery. To hold the visor up you can try to find a velcro tape from auto parts store, by taping one side of the visor and the other top of the roof that way when you fold it up the velcro will stick to one another. this will be a temporary fix.
