Press the unlock button on your vehicle's key fob to
deactivate the alarm. If you've misplaced your remote for the car, use
the PATS programmed key to unlock the driver's side door. Then, put the
key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. The vehicle's
battery should be on, but the engine shouldn't be running.
There is no magic button on my anti-theft box. It is just the plain anti theft that comes on each vehicle. There is no alarm speaker and shock sensors and all the bells and whistles that come with a Ford addon anti-theft system. So, now that that is out of the way, how do you reset/fix a standard lockout system on the car?
Good Question! Anyone have a Good Answer? Because thats my problem too, he just asks better than I.

Usually with the key fob or by locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key.
If you can turn the ignition and all of the dash lights turn on , you can simply hook up a push button for the starter and run a power wire from the radio power directly to the fuel pump. It's that simple.

Either you may be using a key that you had copied from the original or your chip went bad in your original key. Most of cars now a days have the key censor in the key so if it is the incorrect key it will not start your car or if it does not read that chip it will not start

We had same problem but with another vehicle. Try changing the omz in the key itself. Take the key to an electrical place and have the omz changed.Hope this helps.

Keep in mind that, when the security light has been iluminated while driving, there may be a trouble code stored in the computer. You need to take the car to the dealer or find an automotive locksmith
that has a T-Code, or Code Seeker scanner to attempt to pull out the
error code telling you what is wrong.
