How do I remove the oil pan from a 2001 Chevy Malibu 3.1 v6?

try going on to auto zone .com and then go to view repair guide for the firing order

SOURCE: need firing order for a 1998 chevy malibu 3100 v6

The Firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. But the wires go on the coils in this order1-4-6-3-2-5

SOURCE: i am replacing the oil pump on a 98 chevy malibu,

take loose the motor mount bolt and jack the front of the engine up to clear the oil pump and remove the pan,.the bolt the runs thru the center of the mounts ,the easiest way ,hope this helps you, thanks robert b.

take out the oil pan bolts and take it out might have to undue motor mounts and jack up engine to get pan out.
