What makes my pt cruiser starts missing at 60 mph?

ever do a tune up or check for OBD2, sCAn code errors, DTC?
NEW SPARK PLUGS ( AT 50MILES DUE)
OR BAD COP COIL BOOTS OR BAD COPS.
"COP"= COIL OVER PLUGS

WE SCAN THE PCM LOOKING FOR P03XX ERRORS
ALL THOSE ARE SPARK RELATED.
WE LOOK OR DO A TUNE UP. FULL.
NO ENGINE TOLD, SIZE? CYCLE? IS CAR IN USA??

There are other causes like engine running lean. (lots of tests)
above of lines are for spark misfire.
find a real ASE mechanic,and win.

Ignition control module (ICM) or also maybe the crank position sensor. If one of them went bad, it would mean you lose spark (ignition).

if ac not working could be out of gas..compressor stops working when the pressure is lost
check for a .leak or regas system


have the cooling system /heater pipes flaps etc checked

Engine is missfiring, bad spark plug or ignition coil

does the bottom hose not get hot? start by replacing the coolant thermostat, the bottom hose must get hot

Bad tire?

Get it to autozone and they will do a code scan for free,and tell you what is needed to replace,,probly a ******* sensor of some kind,,,,,

HAVE IT SCANNED.SOUND LIKE TPS OR THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR FAULTY.IF TPS GOOD.OTHER POSSIBLE CAUSES BAD FUEL.CLOGGED FUEL FILTER.FAULTY SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES.OR BAD IGNITION COIL.

You could just need a wheel alignment otherwise it sounds like your cv joints.
